As the Technology Solutions Leader for Risk and Compliance at Kodiak, Mike leads the Audivate, Data Analytics, and Accelerators/Continuous Auditing operations and development teams. The team’s focus is to create and leverage tech-enabled solutions for internal audit and compliance, helping them perform their work faster, more accurately, and more completely. 

Mike began his career in public accounting before moving into internal audit, where he worked domestically and internationally before landing at Kodiak. He has more than 15 years of audit and risk experience across a variety of industries, with the past seven years spent in healthcare.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Roger Williams University. He is a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner, and he is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors, and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He regularly speaks and authors content in those arenas. 

Outside of work and depending on the season, Mike can be found hiking, climbing, or running up mountains; golfing; scuba diving; playing softball or volleyball; reading; or traveling. No matter the season, he’ll be adventuring with his dog and wife.
