Matt is an innovative and transformative healthcare operations leader with a long-standing history of providing a patient-first experience in high-performing health systems. To his role at Kodiak, he brings proven experience in business development, staff optimization, KPI implementation, network development, patient experience, and process improvement.

Matt leverages strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster deep-rooted relationships with a variety of networks, communities, and customers. Previously, he served as Vice President of operations at Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital. While there, he helped integrate Palos Community Health into Northwestern Medicine, creating the organization’s South region. He has also served as Vice President of operations for Northwestern Medicine Physician Network, Vice President of operations for Northwestern Medicine Woodstock Hospital, and as Director of Strategy and Hospital Partnerships and a regional sales manager for Land of Lincoln Mutual Health.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in sales and business marketing from Western Michigan University and a Master of Business Administration degree from DePaul University. He is a four-time CFO Roundtable presenter, focusing on bundled payment models. Matt is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Leadership Greater McHenry County alumnus. In his free time, Matt enjoys traveling to new places with his family and being active outdoors.
