Jason Higginbotham

Jason has more than 15 years of professional consulting experience focusing on supporting customers with their unclaimed property needs. Jason’s unclaimed property experience spans numerous industries. He specializes in annual compliance, environmental assessments, voluntary disclosure agreements, audit defense, and asset recovery. 

Jason is the founder of Kodiak’s Unclaimed Property Gateway, providing technology-driven solutions with value-based results for his customers. As Chairman of the Unclaimed Property Professionals Organization (“UPPO”), he helped create the industry’s only Unclaimed Property Certificate Program. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He has certifications in project management and unclaimed property and is passionate about building relationships and providing service excellence to his customers. 

In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and dog and loves traveling, trying new restaurants, and watching baseball with his family and friends.
