Chris has more than 20 years of progressive experience in professional services firms, with focused expertise in human capital and operations leadership. Chris joined Kodiak from ShiftMed, a leading provider of per diem and on-demand nurse staffing serving the acute and post-acute healthcare segments. Prior to that, Chris served as the chief human resources officer at Cloudmed, a healthcare provider-focused revenue recovery firm. Chris was a member of the executive team that oversaw significant growth, culminating in the acquisition of Cloudmed by R1 RCM in a purchase valued at $4.1 billion. During his time with Cloudmed, Chris built a talent organization, including the implementation of a Center of Excellence model, and oversaw a combination of acquisition-driven and organic growth, taking the company from 260 to 2,000 employees and annual revenue growth from $50 million to $490 million.

Prior to Cloudmed, Chris was with FTI Consulting, where he spent eight-plus years as a leader in its healthcare consulting practice. In previous positions, Chris has been responsible for program management of disciplines including talent acquisition, workforce planning, leadership development, and diversity and inclusion. Prior to his tenure with FTI, Chris spent nine years with Stockamp & Associates, a privately held consultancy, which was his entry into the healthcare space. While there, Chris spearheaded human capital and talent acquisition efforts to support organic growth. Chris started his career with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) as a change management consultant within the financial and healthcare sectors and finished his tenure there as an HR/recruiting team leader.

Chris earned his undergraduate degree in business education from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Master of Business Administration degree with a health administration focus from the University of Colorado.
