Bio
Jay brings more than 20 years of professional experience in healthcare finance and regulatory consulting to his role at Kodiak. Previously, he served as a principal in the healthcare consulting practice at Crowe LLP. Prior to that, Jay spent nine years in roles at Big Four firms and seven years working in community hospitals.
His experience includes serving as Interim Vice President of Revenue and Reimbursement for the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Jay’s responsibilities there included inventorying and assessing the reporting structure and personnel (direct reports) within the net revenue disciplines, including responsibilities, performance expectations, workloads, supervision requirements, experience necessary, and quality of output.
He also implemented recommendations for future state reporting structure based on synergies of departments, supervision capabilities necessary, and peer comparisons. Jay holds a Master of Health Administration degree from Indiana University. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Jay enjoys beach vacations and is an avid cyclist who likes long-distance rides and exploring back roads.
